Im back in the air. Just gotta get some crazy glue cause the cap on the back of the tail motor loosens and since the brushes are mangled the motor randomly shuts off mid flight . Got it together and working now just gotta find some glue before i start beating on it some more
Its 15 bucks for a new tail assembly with motor so i ordered one, along with a new flybar and 2 more batteries. I already got extra blade grips hopefully theres no more hold ups
turns out every site is out of batteries and tail assemblies guess im goin to the store again...
Thanks for the help guysLast edited by baja200merk; 12-29-2009 at 05:20 PM.

Your locally-owned hobby shops should have a competitive price on these, they seem to be fairly consistently priced at $180 ready-to-fly, or $150 if you have your own 2.4GHz controller.
My local shop was out of stock with an unkown ETA, so I got mine from www.advantagehobby.com due to the vicinity and short delivery time. They have a "new customer discount" that got me one for $170 shipped. some shops may have rebates on some models.
I've only tried mine briefly at the shop. Dinged a blade already. This is going to be fun.'89 Hydrostream Vegas XT, '90 Merc 2.4 Bridgeport PCU EFI
