Chad, I think the 130X looks pretty cool, and it's obviously a nod to Walkera's designs but the price is ridiculously high. The Nano CPX looks much more attractive.

I've heard the Nano has a great power to weight ratio, lots of pop... Enough power to pull off tic-tocs, which the mCPx cannot quite do.

That was my one complaint about the Genius - I felt it was a bit underpowered. The MiniCP corrected that, though and added a number of other improvements over the Genius. Now I think Walkera has dropped the Genius CP and made it into the Super FP, which I think it's a good platform for. Still, the Genius was the first micro heli to have a six-axis gyro, which I thought was pretty ambitious for Walkera. I tried it and ended up switching it off right away (I was happy you could actually turn it off); it made the heli almost too easy to fly and extremely sluggish. It still had some quirks and I think that's why the MiniCP does not have that ability. Also, the telemetry on both of those helis is pretty cool

Thanks, anyone that knows how to fly helis can appreciate how even harder it is to fly them long distances, some of these shots i flew the heli about 2500' away, it was literally a pin dot, non fpv, just muscle memory on the sticks.

I don't see how you do it, sx. If mine get's 75yds away I start getting paranoid!

FYI hoping for better weather, I've been messing with my Trex, cycling batteries, etc. I had built an extra head, full complete so I could just swap the tail and head out in event of a crash. The swash plate bearing is TOAST and never been run. I assume corrosion is the culprit. So make sure you lube those bearings with something before you put you stuff in storage for the winter!

It's just practice, say since 1991...Trained by the US Army supporting the SF and several other countries, all flying drones.
You must always be able to see it, and trust your controls.
