This is an awesome deal - the Exceed XH100 is a re-branded Walkera Genius CP. I've been flying this helicopter as often as I can and I absolutely love it. The included Devo-7 radio has a 10-model memory too.

After watching this thread for a long time I have decided to post some stuff on the topic.

I started flying Heli's in 1989, looong time ago, GMP Cricket, Cobra ext...followed and learned from Ray Hostetler, Mike Mass ext...

    Hirobo Shuttle xx, Gold, Kyosho's concept zx's, Kalt Baron's and ZR's, then onto X-cell 60 customs...even had a TSK 50...was like a swiss watch..

Long story short, mastered it and went onto full scale aviation, in 02 got back into heli's and giant scale 150cc gas planes, got sponsored ext...

Eventually led me to fly a 1.6 millon dollar RC UAV plane for many countries, for the past 6 years...

I had many bad a s s videos made since 02, but my hard drive got destroyed and I lost many of them. here is an old vid of me goofing off I think over 7 years ago http://youtu.be/bHQYodi-1Ic 150cc 2cyl.

And in 06 California Jets I flew the orange sport jet to receive Top Gun Pilot, on the deck at 200+ mph http://youtu.be/hwsgjFg5CuE

im not the best pilot by a long shot, just have fun doing it and made it a career for 10 years.

Last year flying a real spendy rc plane in Afg.

Any news from the forum heli pilots? .

I've been flying the Walkera Genius CP and their new Mini CP, which is essentially an update on the Genius. Those two helis are absolutely a joy to fly - so well refined and just great. Also the V400D02, which is a 400-sized flybarless heli, but it's very inexpensive and although it has a tail motor, this heli flies just so well. I would consider that the ideal collective-pitch heli for anyone stepping up from fixed-pitch. It's really inexpensive to repair and its rotor head is all aluminum. It looks like it wouldn't fly well, but I was very surprised. Extremely responsive and stable and the tail holds extremely well. I've actually been flying the V400D02 outside more than anything else lately.

I just finished Filming the 2012 Parker Enduro 300 with my Helis, Hexa Copters, all weekend my Team and I shot from all angles...

Here is a couple teasers of what I was able to accomplish with my Heli skills, my video is good, could have been better had I rented a FS700 or Red Epic, but with the 7D and Nex5N plus 5 GoPros, 6 Hand helds we got the entire race from all angles...

Watch at 720HD...remember I fly for a living...watch those powerlines

    Very nice quad footage.

I've been flying my Align T-Rex 450 Pro V2 FBL for most of this year. It's really stable and always feels nice and "locked-in."

Greg, you seem to like the Chinese designs lately. What do you think about the Blade 130x? Shaft-driven variable-pitch tail in a small footprint, designed in the USA.

Dug my 450 out the other day and blew leaves around the yard. The wooden blades didn't take a liking to it and showed their anger by revealing dents all along the leading edges though only a few seemed to flip over into the disk Guess its time to put the CF set on there.

Btw, I'm a beginner with the CP. Built up this kit and really enjoyed learning the assembling process, swash plate leveling and programming. Now it will fly almost hands off. Not bad for a setup that cost under a Benjamin (minus the Tx).

I often get an accumulation of bug guts on my leading edges.

Align makes some really tight stuff. Well designed and accurate. Glad you moved up. When are you getting a 600?

Align is one of the best made Heli's ever offered IMO...

Having flown helis since the Late 80's I have owned just about everything under the sun...

Here is one of my Align's 700e with custom frames and stretched to 800, DFC head, BeastX, Scorpion Motor, Photoship One 3xProv2 Gimbal, Edge 813 mains, Edge 105 and 115 Tail, 500 Gear, running 5800x2 6s, gets 12 mins of all out or 14 in hover.

The Gimbal is a Photoship One 3xPro v2, with Savox Digi servos, Holow Main shaft, 3 axis Futaba gy401 x3 stabilized all axis. 5.8ghz 1000mw Live Video Down Link, Clover Leaf antenna's, custom Mini-HDMI HD to composite video converter.

Love it...just need to refine the gimbal operator a bit..its a hard job...

BTW I sold my STV for this One Heli ...yes im sick...and the other is a DJI S800 fully loaded
