The flaps work great. It will fly at a jogging pace. Should be great for the gym this way.

Not yet Forking. Will take some time. Gonna put a good ESC and servos in the Raptor ( RTR Junk) and as for the F-18 There are several things i have to do so it wont come apart in the air like Carbon rods in the wings and tail feathers and down the Fuselage, extra henge in the elevators. Cut a hatch behind the cockpit to move the 4s way back to keep the CG right. Glass the bottom for belly landings and work on enlarging my intakes and exhaust a little bigger. I am building the f-18 from the airframe up. Metal gear servos etc. I could just epoxy it together like i did the stock one but the first time i pulled out of a pass it would break in to pieces which it will probably do anyway once i screw up. Thinking about also getting a big 90mm F-18 from Starmax (kit only) 59" long. They will run about 130 with the right setup in them . Gonna have to build another garage to keep all these toys lol

Forkin, Seems ive read something about that happening with the Spektrum gear on hi rpm applications. What Receiver are you running ? Do you have a external BEC ?
I cant remember where i read it. I think it was in the Radio's forum on RC Groups. I think the guy was runing the 6100 receiver maybe? I cant remember...
Also ran across this bulletin when i was shopping for my DX7.

Yea, it's a 6100. No external BEC. But what was crazy is... It had been sitting up for a month. I topped off both lipos got to my shop nice and early with perfect flying conditions. Plugged it in and nothing. Never had the problem before, but the guy at the hobby shop said it does happen.

Yup, the guy that lost 2 EDF Jets was using the 6100. Jets ran fine until he spooled them up to mega RPM and then they just kept on going going Gone! That must be a hell of a feeling watching your jet fly off like that. He even had it on video, he was doing fine then all the sudden no signal and his plane just flew away.
I got lucky and got one of the Recal Transmitters so i have a e-mail to Spektrum about sending it back to them. The butthead that sold the system to me didnt tell me it was one with the model binding glitch. I sent him a message as well and might even give him a bad feedback about it. He is a registered Spektrum dealer on Ebay so i know he was aware of the problem but didnt list the bulletin. Pissed me off bigtime!

Hey Greg, make sure you put your geeezus bolt in.
I didn't have very good luck.... gyro on my Raptor won't reverse the servo... There goes 150 bucks. I need to call Futaba to see if they will repair them... That is two I have now that are bad.

LOL, that's hysterical. I haven't even had a chance to fly my Raptor yet, but I'm really looking forward to it. I have it all set up and ready to go - blades pitched, tracked, and balanced. Sorry to hear about the problems you're having though, I hope it gets resolved easily.
Check this out - $99, free shipping and you can get an awesome CP heli - I have one of these and it's fantastic:

Here's my newest. Flew it yesterday for the first time and had a ball. Should be perfect with the recommended battery, but a tad nose heavy with a 3s 2000 that I'm flying.
Its my next step from the PZ T28 and was a good choice. Thoroughly enjoyed it and got it two good flights before the wind really kicked up.
Here are some of it. My new Sweetie.

This has been my favorite lately. Almost makes the Ultra Micro Mustang boring to fly.

Saw one of those flying the other day. Guy really ripped it up in such a small area.
