The mCX tail motor is identical to the mSR tail motor. Lifespan is VERY hit-and-miss with these little motors.
I just ordered a Sukhoi SU-26XP Ultra Micro...'89 Hydrostream Vegas XT, '90 Merc 2.4 Bridgeport PCU EFI

I put some glue on the back of it and pushed the tail rotor closer to the motor on the shaft so it cant push the shaft through the back of the motor like the last one. It has held up for a while and im not good at flyin it so....
One battery took a crap havent picked up another one yet so that is probably helping, i cant fly it as long therefor a cant crash it as much

What goodies do you have in it? Govenor? Auto tune?
Looks good. Is it a Titan? Have you seen the scale bodies they have? http://www.thundertiger.com/products_list/19____1.html

Kevin, if you leave the shaft shicking out of the rotor, it's easier for it to take a damaging hit.
Push it on halfway, it acts as a shock absorber.'89 Hydrostream Vegas XT, '90 Merc 2.4 Bridgeport PCU EFI

No, not really. I know the fuel is different (more oil content I think) because they run at high rpms all the time. Mine was already broken in, but I broke in both trucks and my plane and several boats. Should be about the same......

Well, just ordered me a DX7 and 2 AR6200 receivers (my arse hurts) sure makes them 20 dollar E-Flight ones look better after paying that much money for a damn radio and 2 receivers

You can't go wrong for the money on the DX7 IMO. It will do fixed wing in a variety of modes and also heli. There are so many mixing options it will make you head spin. Like my plane mixes a bit of rudder with the aileron. When in flap 1 and 2 it will mix elevator in so it will keep the nose up. Go ahead and get the case to keep and carry it in!

That's cool pyro. How well do they work?
You got yours in the air yet, Troy?
Put a 13 tooth pinion on my 500 to up the head speed a few 100 rpms closer to 2800. That is what my mentor said, the faster, the more stable. I went to do a test run the and the TX and the RX came un-binded for some reason. I am ready now waiting on calmer winds.
