??? What happened to the Fast Boats Canada Web Site???
Anyone know what happened to the FBC web site? I have been looking for it to come back online now for 4 days. Thanks for the help and sorry if the answer was posted earlier. Did a search and found nothing.

Didn’t know about this site, couldn’t open the forum page, are there Western Canadian members or is it mostly Eastern Canada?

Thanks for the info,
I don’t Facebook and the sign up function to join the forum wasn’t working either. If there were a bunch of Alberta and B.C. (where I vacation with my boat) members I’d be really interested.08 Checkmate 2100br 250xs

There’s not as many guys into fast outboards in Alberta and BC as there used to be. If you are wanting to get a group together in some fashion PM me. I’m in Calgary but boat in BC too. Would be good to have some kind of event.

I can't say for Alberta, but BC in the outskirts of Vancouver as well as Vancouver Island there is quite a bit of go fast boat growth primarily due to the two race boat organisations getting going... The Alberni Valley Regatta Association on Vancouver Island and re-starting the Fraser Valley Drag Boat Association (FVDBA)...

Ha ha hi Mike, that’s great news, I’ve been gone from Vancouver so long that I’m out of touch. You were too modest to say that a lot of the reason those organizations are doing well is because of your efforts I bet
Things have dried up in the interior of BC for outboards from what I can tell. Kelowna has passed a noise bylaw specifically targeting high perf boats (I/Os mostly the target). Shuswap area has been trying to pass speed limits but RCMP have pushed back from what I’ve read. The dealers I know there report few outboard performance boats running around any more. I was there for a week last summer and saw zero (other than me lol). There are still big dollar DCBs, Eliminators, Vectors, and I would assume a few Cougars.
