Just in the mood to (before I kill some dumbas fool I had to deal with today)! But ya simple can NOT beat the 60/70's rock and roll days! Saw Humble Pie middle 70's total out the service now. 4 bands, outdoor event and simple "no rules" Cages, bikers etc. BTO played and gunfire erupted a rival biker gangs (damn right I went on my HD shove chopper too!) Almost shut down the place but all calmed down (silver spoon days and just like to have fun I guess but a few did "30 days" easy. Then dark? The Pie came out. DAMN!
The Stones Altamont. Hells Angels security? Ha! Not blaming them one bit as "we don't take crap from anybody" Heck when I bought my first house and acreage, decided a "House warming party" is needed!

Rode with a biker club and the head dude was great doing "any Chuck Berry, and the band of bikers"! I had a flat bed trailer put in the back, power out the stage, a 20x20 bonfire dark ready to go, and the beer kegs were ready and on ice. So the bikers were there for the band, and security. The word friends (and the noise band) was out and bet had 400 people showed up! 3 blocks away nearest cage park, bikes all over the yard. Its getting dark, and I tossed can of gas the Bonfire and waited a bit to long to shoot a sky rocket in ignite. DAMN! Like a bomb going off (gas don't burn but vapors sure do!) but instant fire! But the only fight? The damn bikers I hired for security! But nobody was killed, nobody did "30 days", morning yard full sleeping bags passed out people, and that WHATS TOSSING PARTY ALL ABOUT, RIGHT? And I never charged ANY as "come on in as its on me" as I bought everything needed. Wish there were cellphone cam vids then as ..(wait..it happened, but glad not recorded!) Gotta protect the fun people!

Gotta share this with ya all! Sent now a old friend (now way in his 80's, rode with me MC's long ago and still rides but a 650 Bergman scooter..(a hip thing simple don't swing anymore, like mine). He was the Weld shop work shift boss. Anyway, read on!

Don, remember putting big band music intercom..RMC?
End of shift? I simple love the "big band era"! Getting ready to put
the big boat in the slip, and has a radio,/casstte (still works too
and 28 years old?). But I can't get any radio but AM here. Twisted the
dial and found WAY low? Some big band station local here and 24/7
"Big Band"! Love the horns, that damn stand up bass picking? So had it
on cleaning up inside, motor fired and ready to go now. Sat still a
minute when this came on! Title? "Ya know what I like about banana's?
NO BONES! HA!

WHAT SUMMER? Little if any rain, sun or P/cloudy days, but it WON"T WARM UP! Struggles to hit 70 lately! I didn't even put the boat in the slip until last Friday! But it will get here and then good through October...(maybe)

Dave, it was supposed to be a storm coming in off ocean and cool today? HA! More like 80, and sun! Oh well..

I saw the "pie" early 70's Illinois at a outdoor event and drive in park the place where it was. 4 bands, all day, Pie headliners. Late afternoon rival bikers gang got in a gun fight outside. Mad dash out the"lib's" which was stupid as THATS WHERE THE Shooting WAS!. Rest sat still and ignored it. Pie can out dark and ..well, this happened!
