Laser Injection Question
Will laser injection work with a 7 petal front half? Never had my hands on one to see.

Yes, with the ECU mounted on the side of the intake. The Laser/Xri motors have a black ECU mounted in front of the airbox facing forward.

intakes were same, some of the 220's were 7 petal, the 225pm (2.5) was a laser 7 petal system so it does work if your converting carb make sure you get EVERYTHING including throttle arm, links and pivots ect because they are different

And if you are talking about putting a true 14 petal system (came on 1991 2.5 200 EFI and the 2.5 225 promax's) on to a 2.4, the intake has to be modified, the bolt pattern is slightly diff..
150's comment about there being many slight differences in the parts needed to do a true/full carb to EFI conversion is VERY true.
