**unfortunetly building boats on long island is waay too expensive....especially for the size plant and piece of land they are gonna need to be able to build boats and store all of those damn molds.... **
Out in Calverton, the old Grumman Plant in the Hangers, could definietly house the facility...good idea, but would probebly never happen..<!-- / message --><!-- sig -->

Why would anyone in their right mind want to move an existing facility set up for building high performance boats to some God-forsaken place like Long Island?
Good move Hustler, and thanks! All of us in the area are wishing you the best of luck.

That would be a nice place to house it, but I think the real value to hustler (at least right now) would be in the plant/equipment down there. Its already set up for a multi brand production process, and you kind of have a 'captured audience' as far as labor/employees
It will be interesting to see what happens if it goes through, in the sense of how long it will take before the fountain/baja production line fires up again and how long before boats start coming off the line.

good luck
Good luck, when the people from NY realize how cheap a fellow living in a trailer in Beaufort Co NC will work, they will want to cut pay in NY. Very old story Dupont, Borroughs Welcome, Yale etc. If "The Reg" couldn`t get it done down here I wonder what could be changed to fix it other than an economic overhaul. I Hope for all involved they can pull it off. Sure hate the thought of more gold chains and pinky rings in eastern NC though.

I guess you could say Hustler has emerged the victor, in the Fountain/Hustler speed trials, lol.
