Ok so now the wife is involved. Her idea is inovative and clean, little suffering
Check this out:
She wants me to trap the rat and we put it in a box and connect that to the tail pipe and put him to sleep...I ask "Why not just use the trap" "Because it could hurt him" my reply""
Hate it...I'm sticking with the original program

rat shot in a 22 rifle has always been my go-to for indoor rats, assuming I was in the mood to be hard headed and not just take the easy way out and trap them.
the rifle's long sight radius works a lot better than a short pistol after several cold beverages consumed while waiting him out....Mike Dowling

I have completed and installed the rat electric chair or as close as a chair as I could make. Here are the pictures:
Patent pending
Installed to 220 volts. This is his path down to the food so I hope he comes down accross the wire mesh. One plate of each of the chicken wire is different 120 volt leg of the 220 volts

I had a rat problem in one of my barns a few years ago, so I put some dog food in the bottom of a 25 gal steel drum and placed a chair next to the drum. Rats would jump up on the chair and into the barrel but because it was metal they could NOT get back out, come out in the morning with Mr. Glock a few rounds later no more rat problem

You need a new screenname... "The Executioner"!!
This is some funny stuuf, here.
I've got a 6' privacy fence surrounding my back yard and every now and again, my dog will go nuts in the middle of the night. I already know what it's going to be so i grab my son's Varmint Hunter with a scope, flashlight and laser sight on it. With Raptor ammo @1200 fps, It hasn't missed yet.
