    What kind of boat?

I tried all the "right" props on my tunnel, and they didn't work well for me and my narrow winding river.

It turns out a 27 Trophy 4 blade is about the best handling prop for me.

It doesn't leave like an ET, but in the mid, and higher midrange, it is faster per RPM than any of the hi po props I tried.

The 27 is faster than the 30 chopper I have....same for all the other hi po props........WAY more RPM's than the trophy.

Oh, I tried the Hoss Triton 28.....great prop.....but it took 500 more RPM's to go the same speed as the Trophy.

What numbers are on it? I didn't know there was enough blade on a small ear to cut into anything.

I like Hoss and small ears on my boat.

I have a 28 and 30 small ear, but the 28 big ear felt better to me.

How light? Those 14" choppers were designed for the old in-line mercs. They were very fast just not reel durable....especially when the V-6 motors came along! They ran very good on the light streams, and very good on the XR-2002 Allisons! Just didn't last long. Just keep an eye on it for cracking.
