Pics "smitty"s island" pics
Get together at Smitty's Island on the south end of LBI. Lots of great boats, people and green heads Nice meeting High Velocity, Powerplay25 and DKerns. Left at 2 because, I dont know if you guys noticed, the island was disappearing Oh Yeah High Velocity, my wife said your stereo rocked even down by her.

That was a great time. It was great to put some faces with names. Those are some awesome pictures, I liked the one of that huge plane that looked like it was going to land on the beach...LOL

What's the scoop on the IO Shadow/Challenger in the 5th pic? It looks "potent" Chris

Chris,
That boat is is a Challenger powered by a 700 BBC. It is owned by Anthony Smith who builds the engines for his Wazzup boat. It runs over 100 mph!

Yes it's a 21'. Handles the rough as good as any 21' out there. The boat does well over 100 mph.

Anthony's challenger makes about 740 HP. He has shorty lower on it, running a 24-26P range of props. Motor will twist to about 8,000 rpm, I've been in it turning 6,300 and it feels effortless, like the motor is unstressed. When you come out of the hole, you really have to go easy, it will blow out and you have to try again...lol
