Mercury Laser EFI Question
This may be a stupid question, but I can't find anyone to tell me for sure.
I just picked up this 2.5 that is hodgepodged togather until I can find a replacement for my good 280 that I scattered.
This motor has a Laser injection unit on it that says 275HP on the tag.
I have no experience with a Laser at all and I'm not sure which fuel line is the supply and which is the return line.
There is something that looks to me to be a pressure regulator that has a fitting on one end (red arrow)and a fuel line going from it to the injector and also has a small line coming out of it going into the injector. In my mind I would think that this would be the inlet. The other fitting (green arrow)is just a plain nipple and I'm assuming that this would be the return line.
Can anyone help me out here?
?

High pressure fuel line from pump goes to green arrow. Red arrow takes return line back to the fuel tank. This is not a regular Laser EFI set-up.
This would need to be plumbed like your 280 was.
