    50 Tohatsu, TLDI-Carb

    I have a 50hp TLDI block, I am going to use it with carburators. I removed the oil injection, and I use PREMIX. I am wondering if I can run this block WITHOUT the 2 check valves and oil lines that are on the standard carb block? The TLDI comes without the check valves. I can make everything else work, my question is with the 2 check valves and 2 oil lines that go from the block to the intake side of the crankcase assembly.
