optimax
I have a 2005 200hp optimax on my 22 Bay boat. Boat runs excellent, but I WANT MORE. Boat has a good holeshot and runs about 47mph on gps. Currently running a 19P tempest plus, bone stock optimax, tabs, & jack plate. Where to from here? Simon motorsports says they can turn a 200hp into 250hp, anybody do this? What kind of performance gains would that get me as far as top speed, holeshot, economy, & reliability? Any input greatly appreciated.

How much would it cost for that extra 50hp vs goin out and buyin a 250-300xs? Optimax technology seems to be a clear leader in DFI, just take a look at this years Rouen results

Geez NNT No Humor on this one???? God It would be so EZ to be like you Here, but Ill be helpful....You can also call Wayne at Hydrotec, they have been working on Mercs for years, whats your Torque gain, thats what I would care about, seems to be more important also....on a Bay boat are you really gonna feel it???? Id ask all of the Guys call Jay at Jay Smith Racing Engines also, hes the master....
