Great project , Is it in the water yet? I am interested in an 1986 version of same boat here in Canada. Do you know if it is a balsa core or just fibreglass layup hull. I am trying to find out more history of these boats , Where manufactured etc. Also any tips on setup your willing to share would be appreciated. Thanks

Any more pics?
Have got anymore pics of retoration ? I would be interested to see them. Its good to see the structural pieces of wood that are in the hull . The one here has had tranom repairs repairs done so I am booking a marine surveyor to give his best opinion about it. Hopefully engine will be 175 merc. (still working on that deal).

Does yours have a hull number (H.I.N.) on the transom? There isnt one on the right side of the hull Im looking at. If there is another location do you know where to look ?
Thx

I think I talked to you about set up earlier. I would remove the foam, if it's wet or not. If it's not wet it will get wet eventully. Mine was like a sponge, about 4 trash bags full, I'm guessing about a hundred pounds or so.

Just me or are the pictures not opening up expanded?
I would loose the foam, even if it's not wet yet, because someday it will be wet ... JMO.James H. W2F a V-King... Want 2 Fly a V-King
