Is this Baja a good boat/good buy?

If the floor, transom, and core are not rotten, it's a good buy. The condition of the motor and drive must also be considered.
The problem is, any random boat that old needs restoration

I have an 86 closed bow outboard and not the fastest but runs strong and is a blast. Check the floor and transom. Look at the bellows,oil,steering make sure no play and go from there. Looks classic. Rick

Thanks for the replies, I actually ended up getting it for 2500. Needed some starter work but it fired up and ran pretty good in the 32 degree Kentucky weather!
