    Help With Gasket

I am having problems finding a gasket that mercury no longer makes. The picture I am posting shows a used gasket (the one I need), and the new one that Mercury sent. The gasket is for a 1994 200 HP Promax. I need 2 of the used gaskets. Click on the thumbnail and you can see which one is old and new.

The new one will work, just make sure it seals. You can check with Pro-Marine they will more than likely have one, but the new one will work. Bobby

I need the used one because Jay Smith has done some exhaust modifications for me, so the new gasket will not work. I waited 2 weeks on Pro-Marine to get the gasket I needed, but they could not get it. Thanks anyway. Maybe, someone can help me out.

Correct me if I`m wrong but why cant you just layout and cut the new gasket to fit...? I`ve ported and port matched more small block and big block Chevys than you can shake a stick at and the gasket matching are pretty simple...

An exacto knife works wonders as to dremel tools for this task...
