Cougar Cub 50 Yamaha, 54 GPS
My Cougar Cub 50 hp 3 cyl Yamaha 15" short shaft 18 pitch prop with no jackplate, smart tabs to help planing. Moveable portable gas tank to optimize CG while running. Reinforced transom and deck to hull joint, waterlogged flotation material replaced.
54 GPS, faster into wind with light chop.<!-- google_ad_section_end --><!-- / message -->

Sorry no pictures of the hand held GPS. But the Radar speed at our club shoot-out was 52.4 and the optimistic pitot speedometer showed 60.

I posted on your other post, good job, I don't know how that hull compairs to a mirage tom cat, the sport c type hull, 12 -15 yrs ago I had one with a 40/50 yammi that radared at 74 1 time, so I call it 74, but it would show 72 every time out. I had a 24p wheel @ 6900. I dominated the area, it took a good 200 to run or whoop me. That motor has plenty of potenial.

The Cub is 10' with a 4' beam, 500# with motor no fuel. Boat is heavier than most due to lay-up and reinforcements.
