Thanks Tony I know you would. I see the new Optimax's come with them. I will see if I can get a hold of one from Fullers to try. Thanks

Tony or someone else from up there please translate this for me. I dont quite understand. Might be the language barrier

I know that torquemasters are often faster than sportmasters if your not running high speed numbers. Thanks guys.

fleetmaster is same as torque master without torque tab on skeg sportmaster is larger case with nose cone low water pick up only and larger skeg for better control at higher speeds and higher transom settings

I just didnt get what you meant about the sportmaster on your progression. Did it go faster with the fleetmaster than the sportmaster? Took sportmasters off my friends 33 concept and put torquemasters on and picked up 9 mph. I am familure with these drives. Thanks for info

Mike, No speak inglash....If you are not running high 80's forget a Sporty. It sounds like you have the correct case, need to try wheels!!
You are actually running pretty well for your setup....Heavy boat 250hp=80, sounds about right to me.
I know, I know need more speed, it is very boring going 80 now
Did someone say X, XS or twins

Mike BIRDMAN said it best on your profile page that is a heavy boat , The boys that had that boat before you built it to run in 2 to 4 footers at a high rate of speed . That challenger had a hot 2.4 on it that would run at 89 mph . Back in the day that was the king of the bay, It would walk away from just about everything .

I dont know how that is possible. My motor makes more power than the Mod VP motor George Fuller built for Ken. That had to be before GPS You knew this boat before I owned it? Any pics?

I know it went from ken to birdman to dave he sold it to buy a 24 skater. I think it went to trenton n.j Then i saw it on here with you . It was called THEREPY

It changed hands quite a few times. Ken Birdsal sold it to the kid I bought it from in Long Island. The original owner was a Doctor who bought it from Linder and raced it under the name Therapy. Fuller did the aluminum transome plate.

I didn't know the doctor , I think birdman was the secound owner he worked for Mercury as a factory rep he sold it to Dave in like 86 or 87 Dave took the name off of it . I had a old sidewinder with a merc 1250 on it . Then found mine in margate n.j in 1988

I have to come up and see yours someday. I was out all sunday morning went from Bayhead to Barnegat and out the inlet and home. Beautiful day. Hope none of them fishing guys tried to follow me accross the flats down by the inlet. Was pretty shallow.
