Hey
Hi Joe. Long time no hear. The notch is the best improvement to this hull. I can drive at 70 all day forever. I think I would like to have a little more skeg and maybe get rid of the nosecone. I think it tends to ride up on it at high speed. I can actually feel it pop or release at about 75-76. Havent tried anymore setback yet. I am very happy with the 80. See you at Molefest or the Patchogue race??

Anybody running a 300XS on there Shadow. Mines a 1985 and I'm now running a 300 PM. Thinking of putting the 300 PM on my 1991 Super Boat and the 300XS on the Shadow. If so what setback are you running. Mine does have the notched transom and I running the 300PM at 10" and it is very well balanced in my opinion.
