Hey
Just did prop slip numbers for the chopper and it worked out to 5%. Mercace said the boat had unreal acceleration from 20 to 70. Looked like a scalded cat.
The trophy worked out to 12% slip. The chopper also came out of the hole way better than the trophy.
I guess I need more diameter.Last edited by vnemous; 05-01-2009 at 09:48 PM.

hey mike
i have a 24 chopper cut to be like a et-lighting from BBLADES Propellers it works great on my shadow if you want i will drop it off at Fullers and you can give it a try. my boat ran 75 with it but i would like to try the 26 et-lighting i also have a 2-1 gear case and spin the motor at 7000rpms the stock 24 chopper i had alot of bow flight the et-lighting made my boat run straight thru anything even in the rough you can stay in the throttle and can still trim up when in the flats let me know.

I have a 24 chopper that Kevin lent me. I also have my own 24 and 26 choppers but they got some dents and dings in them and need to be reconditioned. Gonna have George order me the 300 heads. I live right in Silverton off Silver Bay if you ever want to stop by. On Maine street Challenger is in the driveway. Gotta go out and clean my garage, good day for it. Maybe I will take you up on the prop offer. Want to try as many diff ones as I can. Thanks Mike

Ok
Put stock lower on and set the motor down to one inch below pad. Ran 77 at 5600 rpms with 27 trophy. Could drive all day at this speed. Very manageable. Gonna keep going up in 1/2 inch steps till I loose wate pressure. Gonna get to 80 yet.
