Ignition/Wiring harness for my 2.4 Bridgeport EFI
I have a 1986 Mercury Bridgeport 2.4 EFI motor...it has an 8 pin "cannon-style" wiring harness...I purchased a Marpac #7-1150 push-to-choke ignition switch which replaces Mercury #87-88107 and #87-88107A5 switches it has the following diagram for wiring hook-up on the back of the package/switch: A=accessory (4-pos switch only) B=battery C=Choke (electric) I=ignition M=magneto and S=start.
My wiring harness has red wire which I have connected to B=battery on the switch, yellow w/red stripe connected to S=start, purple wire which I have connected to I=ignition, which leaves (2) wires left.....solid black and a yellow w/black stripe....ANYONE KNOW WHAT/WHERE THOSE LAST (2) WIRES HOOK-UP TO ON THE BACK OF MY SWITCH???? Confused.....15 Mustang

Solid black should be a ground
Yellow with black stripe is your fuel enrichener ( choke )

you should have antother yellow wire with a red tracer down in the harness.... usually it is tapped up... unroll the tape and you will find another yellow with a red tracer..... hook it up to the yellow with the black tracer, this will choke the motor when you push the key in!!!!!!!!!!
just make sure black is grounded...
