I agree with others that the removable cover looks like an afterthought. It would be much cleaner if there was a lip sunk into the deck for the cover to recess down into and lay flat with the deck and do away with all that hardware. That looks like a trap for catching on clothing and everything else. Id be curious to know what the boat looks like now.

Seems as though Progression is having it's fare share of problems these days...............and yes I know this thread is originally from 2008, still hope Kevin can get it figured out before it is too late !!

Resurrecting this thread. If the entire deck was white the "bow rider insert" would become almost invisible. I would also eliminate the anchor locker. Replace the cleats and chocks with pull ups. Remove the bow rail. Have the bow seats made in one piece. I wonder where this boat is now???. I better go to bed before I get myself in trouble. Dirk, didn't I tell you my next boat will be new so I don't have to get involved with "the business"

I always thought this was a good option and talked to Kevin about doing one a long while back but I have to agree the aesthetics and choice of deck hardware on this build was horrible. I believe this, one off, bow rider option was stick built and not a mold insert which would have made a cleaner look. There was also a large fiberglass hatch to cover the bowrider section. Too bad not much new coming out of their facility. They are great folks to work with.

Any chance you saved all of these pictures, and wouldn't mind reposting them? I just came across this thread now, and I'm rather curious.

Yeah I saw two of them from google images. Just looks like there were 5 originally. Perhaps I'm getting greedy.
Sounds like there was a removable lid, I'm curious what it looked like
