I'm About To Buy A Imco Steering System For A Pair Of 300 Xs Opti's On My 32 Skater And Need To Know In Detail What Is Needed To Interface A Verado Eletric Power Steering Pump Into A Full Hyd System From Imco . I Spoke To Mercury And They Clueless , The Person On Phone Said To Buy A Mercury Hyd System !!! I Said No Problem What Is Part # , I Was Playing Along , Finally I Said To Her Mercury Doesnt Make A System , I Guess You Get What You Pay For From Cust Support . Imco Is On A Learning Curve Right Now With The Eletric / Hyd System . I Just Need To Know What Helm And Pump To Use

Thank you , I'm well aware of the Latham for a list of 12 k and that is without hoses of fittings , that is f***ing crazy !!! The hydrive is 3 k foir the pump alone .

I have HyDrive on my 28 its awesome but some complain you loose the feel. Like Ryan says call Ed Thornton my system was around $2000.00 for the pump and helm. Be sure to locate the pump as far from earshot as possible it can be very annoying at idle I had to build a sound shield box over mine and it 2 bulkheads forward of the dash. Good Luck.

Are you saying it is too easy to turn ? Also , do you have a fluid cooler anywhere in the System ? I called Hydrive , List was 3 k for helm and pump .
