Ok I just went over the border and bought the 1990 HST that was for sale on this site. The one with the S3000 power head and the 15" offshore mid. When I went to look at the boat I was amazed at how good the condition it is in. we took it out and this is the video that was taken. There was three of us in the boat and a full tank of gas, i managed to get it to stop porposing but we were running out of light and the clouds in the background are not clouds thats a snow storm coming. in the video we went 94.4 and the run before it with my brother we went 96.6 8500rpm. but I only have 10 min of seat time in the boat and there wasn't enough time to go by myself. I couldn't tell if my thumb was pushing the trim button because it was frozen, and I didn't want to dammage the motor as the temp wouldn't even get to 100deg F. it is really Fu$$##@ cold out. This is the fastest i have ever been on the water and I am really happy about this, unfortunatly i won't be taking it out for a few months as the weather will not permitt. But we have been sitting in it and drinking beer (it is in my brothers heated garage) The acceleration was amazing and I can't wait to try other props that i have. 28 pro et and a 32 lighting et. I now that 110 will be easily achieveable.

Wow congratulations! I think you got yourself a realy realy nice boat (from the pics I've seen). It should be a rush and I think 110 shouldnt be a problem at all.

Wow not the best conditions to go out boating
What prop is on it now?
Do you have an hydraulic jackplate?

    Enjoy your ride! Be safe!

Keep us updated about its performance. We all like pics, vids and numbers

The colder it gets the better my 2.5 runs. That is a beautiful boat and will fly after you get some seat and set up time.

Those speeds are impressive in an HST with three people and a full tank. Generally HSTs hate weight, mine drops at least 5mph for each additional person (my best is 96.7 mph with just me).

If I install a remote operating system I could break 100mph for sure.

Nice looking ride take care of her. In my opinion, the HST is the best riding boat available. They take waves very well for a high performance boat (watch out to keep the nose up though in large swells as they have a tendency more towards stuffing than flipping). Congratulations on your purchase.
