more power from a 225 hpdi
i am looking for a 300hpdi for a flats boat, and have come across a good deal on a 225. being both motors are 3.3L, im curious where the difference is? a friend (yamaha mechanic) says the porting is different, tuner is different, and computer is different. is that it? could a 300 computer, hydro tec tuner, and a different set of heads be used to make the conversion? or will the entire powerhead need to be swapped? i will talk to him tomorrow about it, just wanted some secondary input. thanks...
