the race results are in five Optimax class 2 boats beat the class 3 e-tec. The Optimax boats finished 3,4 and 5 overall beating the crap out of all but 2 class 3 entries

Rouen
The etec may have only done 530 Laps to 798 for the winning merc. But it was definately the best sounding !! (even right through the night) Great Race !!

Hi ,
I am jm Rangotte, n°37 team manager(CMN) during the 2008 24 hours of rouen?I am sorry to say you, but lhe RMSM team, had not an etec , but and 225 cv OMC with carbs....
only the ETEC paint on engine cover, but 6 carbs inside!!!
For us , it was the last year for 225 carbs UIM registration...next years we will find another solution like etec or F1 engine....

looks like an etech failed to finish by the above post......however hard to finsh when it never started...
4-16-2014. 25 years old today... the fishin boat doesnt look to bad for a classic does she
things that were are no longer as they are today...
