Liquid,
Is this a BRP Factory effort or a private one? If it is Factory, isn't this the same midsection and gearcase that Jacobsen at SeaWay bought all the rights to? Is this a joint effort with them?
Also, the cowling looks a lot like the SeaWay cowling too. Just coincidence?
Thanks,
Steve.

ETEC came home 9th with 4 x Mercury 200XS optimax's in front of it as well as 4 x S3000.
-
05-01-2008, 10:58 PM #10
AND the E-Tec was in front of
5 x Class 2 Mercury & (200XS)
3 x Class 3 Mercury (S3000)
Which goes to show that there were more Mercury engines behind the single E-Tec engine than were in front of it.

Just giving the full picture of where the E-Tec finished. EG: In the middle of the field, not at the end of it. In fact it can be reasonably argued that your post #9 above was only half the story. I simply gave a more balanced idea where the E-Tec finished using the same criteria you provided. Class 3 & Class 2 motors.

Sure the full picture was the full place listing accept that but your post was pointed directly at Mercury, the very same attitude as NNT just as bad as one another I would say!

Sorry but your comment above is a nonsense because you did NOT include a full place listing to keep the balance.
1. I used YOUR rules by only centreing on Merc & E-Tec - Class 3 & Class 2 motors, which is what you did. Your agenda was to make the E-Tec look bad. I could have use all the Class 1 motors as well. If you want it that way then I will.
There were 50 boats in the race including ALL the engines including Yamaha. The E-Tec came in 9th out of 50. Not as good as 1 through 8 but a lot better than 10 thru 50. Pretty good huh.
