    I can take the cowl off of mine, take pics, and confirm it..lol...the big block V6's feature a second oil distribution manifold with 6 new oiling points, redesigned injectors, and remapped ignition software.

    I can tell you that my 08 runs stronger and smoother than my 06. Gets out of the hole better, better top end, and a lower, much smoother idle than the 06 ever had. That was turning the same prop and setup as well, I have since spun the hub in that prop and was given a 28 Raker2 with the TBX hub system. It is now faster and stronger with the new prop...I can run right at 80 or a touch over solo, ran 79 with a partner yesterday prefishing, and have hit a max of 82.6 with the new powerhead.
