Weldon Fuel Pump
Is a early 90s weldon fuel pump (model 2001A) with the 6 AN fittings adequate for the 56psi system to 9500rpm on a 2.5? Is there a pressure adjustment on these pumps and where( after doing a search I saw that Brendan Power mentioned this, but I don't know if this pump is adjustable or not)? Thanks.

Hi Jim
Yes that Weldon pump is good for all gasoline 2.5 efi's.
The adjustment is on the inlet side of the pump the large flat head screw, turn it in for more pressure ect.
A #6 outlet is ok but I would recomend a #8 inlet.

Bendan Power-
Thanks, I appreciate the answer. If you recommend AN 8 fittings, then do I need something larger than 3/8ths hose all the way to the injector rail or just to the inlet? I'm currently running 3/8ths braided. Also just to confirm, you recommend going with 76 psi from the pump?

Hi Jim
#6 is fine for the outlet side (pressure side)but I would recomend
#8 1/2'' on the inlet side.
20 psi above the regulated pressure is ok, in your case being 76psi.

Brendan-
Thanks again for the advice. Sounds good; I'll get busy on it.
