    Were to buy core material

    hey guys,

    im restoring a Hydrostream Vector and im not sure were to buy materials. if any of you guys know i can get materials resonably cheap please let me know. mainly looking to use divinycell but might use balsa again not sure. anyway some suggestions of suppliers would be great. thanks in advance.

    These guys carry a lot of stuff and I always take a look but man they are expensive. For a sheet (2x4) of 1/2 balsa core they are $11 more a sheet then mertons, $34 vs $23

    I dealt with Joe at Mertons. It's nice to deal with someone who uses his own product and can tell you how to use 'em from his own experience. Talked to me to be sure I knew what I was doing for 45 minutes, putting me on hold while taking other orders. I sure didn't make him rich with my little order, but I'll refer everyone I talk to.

    Good products, good advise, good price, why not?
    OK, I got down off the porch and ran with the big dogs....kinda sore now....think I'll just lay here in the flowerbed for a while...

    I had the same experience with him. With my first project he saved me from buying the wrong glass for use with epoxy. With the second project we walked me through the core installation. Great guy!!!
