Here are the 3 house camera angles in a downloadable format that you can view with media player in a full size format, we also slowed them down from the originals.

Wow , I always thought that Joe had run up on the wake from the other two Allisons . Looking at these videos ,I see that's not what happened . Look at the second Allison get caught by a gust of wind at the same time Joe is going over . We never felt the wind blowing from the beach on the other side of the river ,along the tree line. dunno rich, two air entrapment boats did ok, and an old heavier, non-air entrapment hull that was going not as fast goes over by a gust of wind while near the beginning of the run, not at the end where there could be some speed (I think he was running a 30 or 32 et)? Guess wind is a good a guess as anything, and it looked like they were heading into it, just hard to imagine just wind did that without something else contributing.
Just glad he is getting back to his old self and the good lord was watching over him that day.

blowover
large vids are much easier to see,, i just cant stop thinking that some mechanical or structural problem was a major part of what caused joe to go over.i cant count how many times i have seen & radared joe ..in the baja running 100 + .. as far back as 1996!! i have some 8 mm videos ,boat always ran FLAT ON THE KEEL at 85 & up , as far as joes ability ,,well goes without saying ,but just goes to show all of us that anything can happen ,to any one , at any time

after reviewing several angles it appears at about 15 seconds into video number one, you can clearly see the 2 outer wakes that he went thru, also it was a slight right bend in the river there and i think the driver of the closest boat knowing he was over his shoulder turned kinda sharp giving the appearance of a gust of wind which may have been part of the equation as it might have generated a bigger wake from the manuever, also wind speed can be seen in the palms and doesnt look any more than negligable
Variety of stuff

I watched part of the 1st vidio and just saw a bunch of boats playing around. I saw the crash on the second posting. The canal must be wider than it looks on vidio. I guess I am just parinoid about runing in canals after during a bat turn in my 03 over 80 when I 1st got it and almost puting it on the bank and that was in the intercoastal in crownpoint.
