    Polishing In Line Face Plate

Anyone have any ideas on how to restore an in line face plate to like new?? not the black ones but earlier chrome face plates. I am guessing this is just polished aluminum. Not looking to paint it but polish it back.

    thanks

Mother's Mag & Aluminum Polish. Puts a chrome like shine on any aluminum parts. Just rub it on by hand with a cloth and then buff it off by hand with a clean cloth. Available at all Advance Auto Parts for about $5.95. Happy Polishing.

If it is a chromed metal one start by useing 0000 steel wool its easy and fast.
    Then go with polish.
It wont do any good for pits but neither will anything else.
Be careful some pastes have to much grit and will dull it.
    Dale!
