Ode to The Hoser
Ode to The Hoser
It has been said usually by himself, that "The Hoser " has long held the distinction of being*" King Of The Cut".......
But this all has changed!
On 09/23/07 at 10 am, Billy "The Hoser", Dirk Pitt, and East Coast Marine as chase, rolled out going south up The Amityville Cut, as we stomped on our gas pedals, the rooster tails flew, at that moment "The Hoser" knew he was no longer King.
As Pitt tapped, tapped, tapped the trim button, "the Hoser" fell,fell,fell,into the mist of Pitts rooster.
When they stopped The Hoser casped for air, as Pitt trimmed his 300x only to find that the dreaded Herring was not there, Just the Trophy, bear bones and stock...

now that I have the distinction of being King Of The Cut, Im not giving it up, So in the true spirt of sportsmanship, I think its only fair to let The Hoser have that one.

yes it was all true
dirk pitt did win that time
however he failed to say that a week later we met again and the story was changed.
dirk and i had the same prop and the same about of gas, we went to the flats were he is confortable driving the boat at high speeds
We ran the boats with the wind starting at about 30 mph
HOSER took the lead for about 3 miles and Nerver gave it up.
Then we did the same run into the wind and the same thing happen
hoser was in the lead and never gave it up
the story is that hoser beat dirk for years and dirk had to cut the bottom of the boat to help drive it at high speeds
and made it a 15" mid for $ to also help with the driving
= hoser boat = bone stock made in 1986
= hoser motor = mid section bone stock
