We are having Drags and a great weekend of boating in Fairmont Minnesota the weekend of August 25th.
This is as far south as it gets in Minnesota right off of I90. It would be nice to see more of you guys from Wisconson, Illinois, Iowa and South Dakota.

John, one thing about work, it will always be there when you get back from the weekend. Winter is going to be a long wait for the race season to come back around.....unless you have some powerheads to build...then it seems to sneak up on you...

This event will be right in the centre of town, most likely lots of spectators. New Ulm was a blast, this should be even better.
I've booked my room already, will Ripper be doing the announcing again?

Actually yours truly will be doing the announcing honors @ this one Jeff!

If I can get GP1's old carb motor to cool-down, I might even get to run my boat!

Jason, I dug up a pic of my 245 old carb motor and it appears to have had a hose coming from the poppet cover and a hose from the starboard head over to the port head and down. I was running a one piece adapter as well. I was also just running washers no T-STATS.

My Bridgeport MODVP carb has the poppet blocked off and a hose off each head with a balance hose between them and no T-STATS.

Have you removed and or blocked off that center hose and tried it yet?
