My latest inline trim indicator
After breaking the little bracket that I made that holds the cable to the side of the cylinder I made a new stronger one and a new nicer indicator. I had some xtra safety switch covers in the shop and thought that they would be nice in da boat. So I ended up with this setup, The switches are mounted far enough apart to let the preload spring to run between them. The main plate runs up under the dash about 1-1/2 to help in mounting it. This also let me use a longer HD throttle return spring that should last awhile. This is the third finish I've had on it. The Hi-vis yellow shows up good with the phantom black base. I'm tried of stripping it down and repainting it. The lettering is done with one of those Dymo label makers. I might have it redone by a pro if I keep it this color? Now I need to do some testin.

Nice job Dave. Maybe another winter project for me to put on the list.
