UHMW hull? River boat recommendations for a novice.
I'm looking for a River fishing boat - looked at Phantoms, Alumaweld, RiverPro, Woolridge, and Jetcraft.
Right now I really like the Extreme Shallow from Harbercraft with a Yamaha 160 HP inboard. They offer a UHMW hull option but I'm concerned about the longevity of this as well as all of the holes in the hull to attach it.
My second preference is the Woolridge 17 with a 155 jet outboard.
Pretty much going to spend in the mid-30's - looking for a boat to run the Etoway, Oostanaula, Coosa, Chatooga, and Chatahoochee.
Any river runners out here who can make recommendations.
Thanks!

I agree with the above post haha No bias here honest!
Best advice is get over to the forums at Riverjet and outlaweagle for much better advice. They are jet forums, not to bash S&F but alot more knowledge base over there for that feild
What do you plan to do with the boat primarily?
Cheers

Oh and if you're concerned about the longevity of the UHMW that likely means you need it, cause its just preventing you from wearing out the aluminum instead. UHMW can be replaced!
Cheers
