Need to get bote from Iowa to Louisiana

Buying a boat in SE Iowa and would like help in getting to S. Louisiana. Anyone comming this way ? Don't look forward to an 1800 mile round trip. Will meet anywhere in between.

What size boat? I could meet you in Memphis I have a diesle that gets great mileage if you cover my fuel. Or I might be able to bring it down to Birmingham when we come down for Talladega. We have family in Houma La, and Memphis is about 1/2 way. Shawn.

BIG J, you going to the April Talladago race ? That just may work. Time schedule is tight for this month. Memphis or Birmingham. Either way it's about an 8 hr. drive. The boat is in Van Horne, IA.
Figure what you want to get it to Memphis and give me a call.
It's a 19' Laser 380 ski hull w/o power on a single axle trailer. Probably lookin' at around 2500# max.

Steve, I left you a message if Duffy and Kim cant help you call me or PM me. I am 288mi from Van Horne then another 575mi to memphis then 400 back to Champaign. 1,263mi round trip. Or Champaign to Van Horne 288mi back to champaign 288mi, then Champaign to Pell City Alabama 600mi 1,576 roun trip. Fuel should be close to the same, around 400.00
