I think they use magnative levitation? The wheels barely touch the rails, less friction more speed.

No, it sounds like they are normal wheels on tracks, but they got within 7 MPH (or KPH) of breaking the Mag Lev, record.

still 20 mins late arriving at montpellier last night . t.g.v. paris to montpellier left 3-28 pm arr. montpellier 7-10 pm. Before you start claiming wonders get the old house in order.

Flat moving. 25000 hp. Also an interesting fact. Prior to making the run there was a track vehicle that ran down the rail. They were inspecting and correcting track deviation. (up, down and side to side) the spec is less than 1 centimeter of deviation.
I work for this company, they had a contest and the winner got to ride on the train. Was not me. Bummer.Fellow G-Man,

They reported that it took just under 15km for a nice easy stop.
