Fastest 30' Scarab Open Fish w/OB's you've seen?
Title says it all. What have you seen one run? I'm curious as to what has been achieved. Thanks!
Also, what was the setup, if you know?Last edited by STV_Keith; 03-24-2007 at 10:01 PM.

My 33 Oceanhawk ran 72 any time any day with twin V8's with a mild port job and cut heads..4.0 motors with big carbs..23 mirage's at 6700..75 with 4 blade Hyrdomotive 24's, but broke a prop shaft and lost one of Cigarettes props.. Now I have Etecs because I'm old..they run 60..great motors but I would rather be burning lots of High Test..and going faster..A new Oceanhawk was just rigged with 300x's only ran 64..1.5 mph faster than 275xs's..and was rigged by guys who know..

Thanks guys. Lil Abner, what's an Oceanhawk? Not familiar with that boat. I'm thinking it had to be somewhat light to run those speeds?
My pig went 74.5 this weekend on GPS. Turned the 24 Bravo 1's 6400-6500. I tried my 26's, but they were 500rpm and 1mph slower...however, that was the next day (Saturday) and it was about 10 degrees warmer. Today was about 15 degrees warmer than the first day, and it only went 72.8 with the 24's again. Damn heat!
Top end run video (right click and "save target as") - dialup beware...it's 16MB!Last edited by STV_Keith; 04-02-2007 at 12:05 AM.
