Water walking????
I have a question about why my boat water walks? I does it at top speed which is about 65-70mph. I have a 295 pro elite stratos boat with a 200 johnson. Just curious if anyone has any ideas. Thanks

It's called chine walking. Use the search function, there are a lot of threads on the subject.

A chime is the sound the doorbell makes. A chine is the intersection between the hullside and hull bottom. CHINE not CHIME.
Merc Lover, what kind of steering do you have?

water walker
Just be safe! You will most likely find your top speed will inprove once you can get threw the learning curve. When you can run her straight with no chine walk pinned you can play with the trim.Sometimes one bump up will get you several mph. Just be carfull not to bump her up to far at 70+ . James
