    Lightbulb Olds 425

Does anyone here have a 425 in their jet boat? I was going to have my 455 rebuilt, but the machining shop already has a 425 ready to build. So, I now I'm thinking that a 425 might actually be a good way to go. I have a 1977 18' Mantra. Any opinions??

I've heard the 425 is a stouter piece than the 455, as far as longevity, the HP of the 455 is hard to beat, but they have hybirds of the 425 that make killer HP too. try www.442.com you may find your answer there on the Olds.

I have a friend thats built a wild, smallblock olds for his Sunkisst. you can find him on Justjetboats.com under the name of "saginaw squeeek"
