76 nordic 455
my 76 nordic with a 455 olds just don,t run as fast i think it should it has berk. jc pump new build but will not run over 50.the motor sound like it is under a load it want turn the rpms ....new to the jet boat game please...mark

What rpm are you turning the 455. I'm not familiar with the Nordic but, most of the jets 'round here run in the 60's. I'd verify correct timing and make sure your carb butterflies are giving you WOT.
