Exactly. What is the point of manufacturing engines that produce less than 200 hp anyway?

I bought my dad a 2006 Yamaha 4 stroke 60 EFI to replace the Yamaha 50 carb 4 stroke he had. I dont care what anyone says about these little motors, they are great. They crank at the slightest hint of turning the key and fuel efficiency is unbelievable. It can idle/troll all day long with no worry of fouled plugs. On the same run that my 200 efi merc uses almost 20 gal, the 60 4 stroke uses 4 gal and will push the 16 ft'r 38 gps.

ran my new motor yesterday for the first time.first thing i noticed was how quit it is. and to start it all you do is simply turn the key, doesnt matter weather it is hot or cold. it does not even have a choke to use just turn the key and it starts! ran it for two hours at around half throtle and used only two gallons of gas. so far i really like it. if i find any down falls to this motor i will let you guys know. and it also came with a six year warranty that merc is giving away untill march of 2007!

motor only has 5 hours on it so far. ive only bin on one fishing trip with it. but it ran like a top! no complaints so far. real easy to start. and seems to run reel smooth. and doesnt use hardly any gas at all. i am very happy with it so far, if any thing goes wrong with it i will let you guys know about it. but it should not cause any problems till the day after the warranty runs out with my luck.

I like my buddies 90 etec, its a sweet motor, but if Im not mistaken I saw in a B&WB test that a 115 Zuk had about 1/3 better fuel mileage over a 2 stroke @ optimum cruising speed (3000-3500)........Now at WOT they were pretty close but for something to cruise around the lake in all day a efi 4 stroke would be hard to beat.
