Lee,
I have to agree I have been VERY successfull with the 518 Loctite for years without a single leak but this one issue that already had a bearing failure issue that may have cracked the front half. Pretty good testomony for gel seal I'd say, BUT there are other products on the market that will work well also I would think. Gel seal ( 518 loctite ) is SOOO much neater and cleaner to work with... Perfect seal be some NASTY crap !
