So the offer for free shipping and a 15% discount is still good on 12 qt, 6 gal, or 2-2.5 gal.? Also, is there any down side to using the gear lube or 2 stroke oil in my ole 2.4 that is completely stock? I've been running between 40 and 50:1 in this motor, the same with the Alysin oil? Any requirements to change plugs, frequency for gear lube changes etc?

Thanks in advance for puttin up with my questions.

    Alisyn Free Shipping

    Hello Quinten,

Free shipping on all case quantities (12 qt, 6 gal, or 2-2.5 galllons).
You can go a little leaner with our Alisyn ProPower (32:1 to 34:1).
No need to change plugs if they're good.
Same lower unit oil change interval as with any other gear lube.

Please give us a call if there is any other way I can be of assistance.

    Best regards,
    Jerry Manastyrskyj

It looks like free shipping is all that's left for us at this date. No 15% discount in April 2012 for me.

Update August 2013, I called - the discount is still there, just not on the 5 gallon pail I bought last year. So this year I got the 6 gallon case and I got the discount!

Free shipping over $100 when ordering on the website. The invoice won't show it, but leave a note with the order and they won't charge shipping when they hand-enter and run your credit card.

They still ship free to me with a $100+ order. I order trumpet valve oil for my music store along with my outboard oil.

I definitely consider their oils the best we've used. Great company too.

Just out of curiosity.... Other than the specs... How do ya tell which oil is better ? Do ya have to blow up an engine after running a certain oil for it's life time and decide to change oils ? or do ya have to replace parts more often ? After running different oils ? And / or try different oils on different conditions on different engines... Every oil company swears by their oil and can provide specs and scientific data..... But can anybody say that the reason their engine lasted longer / ran any faster / set any records / won more races / put a bigger smile on their girlfriends (or wife) face / Saved any more money by not using a certain oil ???? I've always heard from many a intelligent engine builder..... Pick a good oil..... And stick with it ! I like Mercury's oil.... And it's never been the reason I've blown an engine.... It's always been something other than the oil's fault ???? Usually Mine !!!! But I don't race, or have the fastest, or the longest lasting..... But I do have lots of fun..... !!! Even when I'm working on them..... ! More Power to the Engine Builders / machinists and consultants & the oil people..... Like... Todd, Chaz & Joe, and all their friends..... And All Scream and Fly Members and the Administrator ...... And I was Just curious..... But I had to put my ten thousandths in..... + or - a .0005
