okay, can't take away the fact that is the fastest boat on SNF just because he doesn't presently own it. 151 is the # fun out

In Fl theres a F'd up law that any vendor/sponsor of an event can also be named in the lawsuit. Thats what happened I believe when Joey Gratton was killed at the Key West Finals. If I had my name on a flyer I could have been sued.
I say "I believe" so if someone has other info about that incident please clarify.
As a sponsor here I sometimes worry just attending our events that I could get named if someone got hurt and some slimball attorney wanted to pull out all the possibilities.

These days I know a bunch of pump gas river boats (not high strung race/drag motors on spray) that will go well into the 120s. 130s is the new 120 . Brent, Dave, jperog, Adam, Gordon, Capt doug metko, Andy, in no particular order are some of the fastest river boats I can think of around here.

Wheres deeznuts when u need him? Hes always got something up his sleeve
i am here bud just head about all this there are a lot of different things to think about here in this case a speed master is worth ten mph nos is worth a ton of power but in my opioin that's not a river boat a river boat to me is a pump gas motor and a shiftable gearcase but if your talking about anything you can boat on a boat then I say from what I have heard Dixon ran 151 never saw it, I did see him run 143 after about 5 try's on swainee. I now of four boats go 130 plus with stock gearcases Dennis, Gordon, Brent and myself brad McCray will be in that group shortly I am sure there are several more around that have just none that I have witnessed myself last topend deal they had I here a Stv won it at 126 so must not be all that many of the 130 plus boats out there and 130 has become pretty much a starting point today that's a fairly easy number to attain today good luck guys and be safe🏁😜

a 600 lb hull will run faster topend than a 400 lb hull same power won't get there as quick but will handle that speed and be more stable we are talking Stv anyway a super light hull doesn't want to stay flat much over 120 just keeps climbing the bow have ran both

If the question is who's boat can currently run a big speed today in an outboard, then it would be Jon Wright's Doo Dad boat. Jon ran the boat 156 in the 1/4 mile and I have improved on the set up, making a lot more power and guarantee getting to stretch it out I can run it over 160.

So I think this topic needs to be who has a boat that can go run all day long with out re-fueling, pump gas, shift able lower and can haul more than 1 person and considered a real lake boat. Also, Dale Razor has a blown Alcohol hydro and he is on this board, so that thing stretched out can run close to 200.

My point is to make this fun and keep it realistic, let's try to break the boats down, like who has the fastest STV, Mirage, Allison, Hydrostream, 21 Skater, 24 Skater, Talon, etc, etc. I think that would make a great thread. Break it down to manufactures, models or at least boats in the same category. That I would love to see. Call the thread "Who has the fastest lake boats" no race boats allowed unless they can go run for a couple hours and then make a big pull.
