Hey guys, I haven't been on for a while, but I actually got my boat out last weekend to shoot a quick video with a friend. He has a racing fpv drone with a go pro and I think it turned out pretty awesome. Unfortunately we didn't consider mic-ing the boat so had to overdub music. Ok, not a bad video but why all the turning and what not, get it aired out and let the drone get some good shots of it coming and going, most of the time the entire boat isn't even in the video, and who picked that circus music to go with it? I like the boat, and the drone operator seemed to have some skills, now you just need to re think what you want the outcome to look like. Better luck next time.

Looks cool! Those racing drones are way faster than my little Bebop drone, that's for sure!
Yeah, this was the first time we tried it. He had a pool noodle strapped to the drone so it would not sink if it crashed. Naturally, it affected the handling. He did end up crashing on the last battery pack and I had to recover it from the lake.
The Riot turns, and I like turning, but next time we will plan a little better so we can get some flyby type shots just for you. And, I'll talk to youtube to see if I can get them to put a volume knob on the video so people can turn down the music if they don't like it! :cheers:
