How do you like the Cessna? The flaps look almost like they work like the real thing! :)
Yes, they're very scale-like in function. Lots of deflection too, if I want it.
I've only flown it once, and it seemed OK.
Pre-ordered this today. must have it...

mee tooo! cant waite. Starting to get bored with the msr. How much different will flying flybar less be.
The big difference is that it will behave more like a larger 90 degree flybar CP-- The heli will NOT self-correct, it will continue to stay at one attitude or head in one direction unless you tell it to do otherwise. No more "falling into a hover." :D I'm not sure if I can wait another month...
I hear you, on the waiting part. I've been putting in alot of time on the sim. I have been wanting to get a collective pitch. This is a perfect next heli for me. I'm sure it will five dollar me to death like the msr.
I flew the big Cessna 182 the other night-- Way cool, very relaxing to fly. I did a loop, a roll, and one perfect flared landing.
Our wonderful government looks as if they are trying to regulate RC models more...

If you aren't a member of the AMA, you may want to consider it.
Is that the new CP Blade? Chad, if you've never flown a CP heli I highly recommend the Esky CP3 or Exceed Eagle 50/Walkera HM22E; both are incredible trainers and extremely inexpensive to repair. I learned on a CP3 and the 22E flies just as well (and forgiving). Heck I have an extra brand new 22E here I may use as a giveaway. They both fly just as well as the Blade SR, and that's the truth. :)
I plowed a couple of runways on the ice this weekend. Until the ice melts, this is how I sceam and FLY...
There's a couple of spots in the video where I got far out and lost visual orientation and went into a death spiral dive for a second before re-gaining control. Flaps are visible on take-off and landing.

This one was from yesterday, on a much shorter runway.
